Hello!
I use my NV GS11E (I very much hope that I am now not grad with the name of Vertu, the camera is located in the hotel) for about 4 years and so far everything has gone wonderfully.
Well up at once, because I had basically the same problem, as now, nothing more was when I opened the door did not get the tape sometime and could not even open the door more.
At that time I had the camera then submitted because it is still within the warranty was. Since then no problems anymore ...

Now was it that I always just s.and first to the text when you turn on the screen was: "PLEASE PRESS RESET BUTTON". First I ebe then pressed again and everything was good, but a few days ago was once again on the drive with the los ... So RESET command prompt, and then then came the tape does not go, and sometime even verhakt to the door. After seeing the camera something at rest had left a little later we went again.
But today the same again. Now I no longer erstmal dran rumgefummelt when I again am in the room, I look again.
Can you somehow relatively easy fix? (Machine at a certain place, tighten screw irgendne?) Or is the nunmal the course of things and after 4 years is such a camcorder simply scrap?
A new purchase is in fact already planned, but it would be a shame to still the "good old" Camera: (
