Hi together
I work at the moment with Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0. (HDV).
Recently I tried recording the comment and must determine that the recorded audio volume was very low, although the very top level has been made. My Überlegeung was therefore, the comment separately with another tool (eg QT Player and USB Microphone) and then record the audio file into the timeline to import it. When I use this workflow with a jack Microphone wanted to try, either ran the video in the timeline, or I could make the audio recording. Both together funzt not. Why? I am working on an Asus laptop with Core2Duo 1.8 GHz with 2 GRAM and HD 7200 on Vista.

In your case just a really cheap mixer from a discounter. I assume that's your Micro has a jack. Should it, however, a XLR connector be then you have to make sure the mixer has an equally connection. But there are inexpensive synonymous. Good luck!
