| Network switch with a good backbone f.
Question of tobsen: Februar 2009
Hi,
At the moment we use as a core switch for our Ethernet network to the "3Com ® Super Stack ® 3 Switch 3824" Details: http://www.3com.com/products/en_US/detail.jsp?tab=features&sku=3C17400&pathtype=purchase
So far we are pleased, but intersect synonymous with only about 4-6 people, users on the network around 12-18.
We need now for our two outdoor units / truck a 16-port and a 48-port switch. We use exclusively 3Com products. Locally, we have approximately the same requirements as in the Network s.das Studio (or more likely even higher because we have over hard disk recorder, it only uncompressed signal about competence network ..), so I would really like to switch back to the same purchase - but unfortunately this is no longer available.
My question: What is the fastest of 3Com Managed Switch with 16 and 48 port? Fast is, of course, on the backbone of the switch relative ;-) So I want moeglist many clients simultaneously as much speed and as little latency as possible. Fiber uplink, we need not strictly, and other features (such as trunking and VLANs) switches are in this category included anyway ..
Thank you for any Evaluation / Note fogy
