Apple has just introduced new MacBook Pro. The changes compared to the previous model are quite extensive, so that more of the innovations of an update, as can be - synonymous if the form has changed little. The innovations include: Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 4 MB shared L2 cache (2.2 or 2.4 GHz), NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics card as new as well as for the first time the 15-LED background lighting technology and for the 17er an optional Resolutionvon 1920 x 1200 pixels. The prices were in comparison to the predecessor models slightly lowered. Here are the technical details and the prices are as follows:

The 2.2 GHz 15-inch MacBook Pro for 1899 euros including VAT has:

- A 15.4-inch widescreen 1440 x 900 display with LED backlight;
- A 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor;
- 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, expandable up to 4 GB;
- A 120 GB Serial ATA hard drive (5400 rpm), with Sudden Motion Sensor;
- An 8x double-layer SuperDrive (DVD ± R DL / DVD ± RW / CD-RW) drive;
- Called an NVIDIA 8600M GT with 128 MB GDDR3 memory;
- DVI output for external display (VGA adapter included, Composite/S- video adapter available separately);
- Integrated dual-link support for the Apple 30-inch Cinema HD Display;
- Built-in iSight video camera;
- Gigabit Ethernet port;
- Integrated 802.11n AirPort Extreme wireless LAN and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR;
- ExpressCard/34 Erweiterungsslot;
- Two USB 2.0 connections, a FireWire 800 - and one FireWire 400 port;
- An audio input and a headphone output, with both optical-digital support;
- Scrolling TrackPad and illuminated keyboard;
- The infrared Apple Remote remote control, and
