So far I have a clear picture of the current default screen image on my television.
The problem is that no preference whether DVD, AVI or MPG with VLC or Windows Media Player - the area on the television is still black.
The two slightly less important problem is that I Resolution1280x1024 the use of television but apparently can anziegen only 1024x768. Is it possible that when the full screen of the player he made the resolution Auto adjust?
Well my real question is - Why does the video area remains black?

No, the cards are not too bad, the PowerMac jogs back. @ Powermac: I found funny ^ ^
Well, the problem: Windows can only play videos on the primary monitor. This is nunmal so and can really change nciht -
Antwort von Peter S.:
Go into the display settings and put the television as a primary screen. Furthermore, if a television can display 720x576 pixels, to convert all the larger or smaller must be the graphics card. MFG Peter

I gives no details about: graphics cards, drivers along with Windows too bad. You can turn off the option "Hardware acceleration" of the graphics card in the system settings. Then it should go. But there are better drivers or cards that can do that.

It s.was is quite different.
That with the black screen has to do with hardware overlay, in this mode, data is entered directly into the graphics cards, RAM and written output - virtually all standard video player to use this mode. Since in this mode, a graphics card such information only on a monitor output or can output it is black in the other.
So you can see it so synonymous s.TV, see here: http://www.computerbase.de/forum/showthread.php?t=213195

a) You declare the TV as primary display as this overlay material is displayed by default: http://www.uli-staerk.de/files/cb/monitore_anordnen3.PNG -)> Right-click on the monitor (= TV to highlight it and then down the "Make this the primary display" or "use this device as the primary monitor" checkbox. Advantage: s.TV material will not be automatic full screen display (yes you want may not always be so)
Is only in DualView-Modus, nicht im Clonmodus.(sonst Option grau untermalt, nicht anwählbar)

Overlay can be synonymous but are issued on 2 monitors, but only through full-screen, so zb TV: overlay fullscreen (using already mentioned driver menu setting) PC: the video window (or vice versa).
It is a pity that Grafikakrtenhersteller on this subject hardly provide assistance :-(
