Actually, I had decided on the new SonyHDR-XM550. But after the test in the current VAD3/2010 I abandoned the idea because the 550s is in LowLight area has become worse than the 520s last season. I have almost decided on the Panasonic HDC-SD707.
Here are my reasons:

I have the 50p clip TM700 transformed with me on the Mac 108025p. But my Mac took 46sek clip length at only 15 minutes!
I dread it now before it, when I think of how long the part will then need when I convert my own first 700 clips.

There are / were very good cameras with DV tapes, as there are pretty lousy card camcorder / there - and all the variants in between. The storage media says about the performance of a camera at all.
