Hi All,
I know most can not hear, the more likely, but I wanted to ask if you are synonymous what it could be that my laptop is my Panasonic NV-GS17 does not recognize.
My laptop has) XP, SP1, one OHCI-compliant host controller (according to Device Manager. I have now I bought last week, the Cam, plug the Firewire cable s.and lo and behold, nothing happened!? Have they always been s.and out, but not even the obligatory "BimBam" sounded (ton) do not even ...
I myself have read through hundreds of forum entries, but somehow fitting for me yet discovered.
Has anyone an idea what could be my problem (except :-)??? dangerous half-knowledge, of course,
About fastest response I would be happy!

Hello you two,
to exclude the possibility that it is s.Kabel, sometimes trying a different FireWire cable. Possibly. synonymous times better if you present only one (qualitative) cheap.
To rule out that it is s.Camcorders, sometimes tries to connect to another digital camcorder via firewire. This can possibly borrow your friends, acquaintances or relatives.
To rule out that it is s.Laptop, closes the camcorder at times s.einen other computer.
