The question now is what would you advise us?
I think the 330 with the trumps 3 CCD 's and of good quality in darker environments.
With the H40 because of the hard drive is very irritating.
Does the H40 with the 1 CCD image quality just as good as the 330?

What would you most?

So if you're on quality, then I would take the Panasonic NV-GS 330 EG take! Just because of the 3CCD technology, which appreciable differences with raises.
In addition, this camera saves the images on the tape, thereby eliminating any losses.

The SDR-H40EG must be recorded in MPEG2 kompremieren, which thou hast quality loss, but it can take much longer than with MiniDV cassettes. In addition, these cameras Batteries not so long preserved, due to the power consumption of the hard drive. And you must remember that the hard drive against shock sensitive and is much movement, because the read-write head of the hard drive. Advantage is that you have the video instantly via USB or Firewire to the PC and then you can view or edit. And stop the longer shots, depending on the size of the hard drive or SD Card.

With MiniDV you can hold only about 60 or 80 minutes and must include the entire video at 1:1 until the PC game, which halt a long time.

If you like the quality is not so important, but rather the application of light, then I would for SDR-H40EG guess, since the transfer to long quickly and it immediately goes in the right format, unless you want ne AVI; -- )
