hallo ihr lieben Final Cut Pro or other experts! I have been researching all sorts yesterday in forums and am not really found anything. I often synonymous not the language experts. ;-( Vlcht can you help me .. yes, in a simple expression, so for absolute beginners?
So: I want p.30. and 31st dec kurzfilm my turn and had no idea of post (first time director and will of course know my synonymous in the Expand section area). I want to Spend time with a canon of HDV cam (xl h1) od sony (fx 1) use. In my search for cheap rent, I am on dv-kameraverleih.de encountered. the prices are crazy cheap! has anyone of you have any experiences with this hire? where can I trust?
another major problem is: I've heard that there are problems with the cut could give of HDV cameras. you would need for any frills ... to what extent it is true because when I use FinalCut Pro 5 wishes? concerns me that? make the cut 2 friends of me, not necessarily a lot of experience with apple have, I am of course synonymous with. another place except cut my powermac g5 dual 2.3 GHz with 512 MB of memory, we have now do not. creates my g5 or because I still need an external hard disk on this? oh man, I'm really saublöd before me that I had no idea. What gadgets should you do need? You have a fast G5 and Final Cut. That's enough. It should, however, the current version (5 or 5.1). What does it have no other place cut? The last.
HDV editing is not as severe cutting of other material. You should get Final Cut Pro, but can do. If you have everything neatly in place, the quality on DVD very good. But before it and learn and practice!
I can see the Final Cut Pro Book Of Andreas Zerr or video training workshops synonymous of Andreas Zerr recommend. Although eight hours video, but then you are competent;)

Have personally with the rental station Munich positive experience. Have me for a week an FX-1 borrowed. Device was new and I was in an equally-new Kata bag with instruction manual, etc. given.
The only drawbacks:
The devices are not insured! Is: Will the camera stolen or damaged, you have even the damage to be covered ....
In addition, very early in the book Camera. Wanted many times one to two weeks in advance to reserve, since the camera was no longer available or the holder of the loan station had no time since turning himself in on the road.
