'm just s.tüfteln with the Power Director. Everything goes so far as synonymous. Picture and sound are there.
Now my question. What settings are s.besten to File feature length with a aktzeptablen Picture feasible? The film should be on a DVD-R fit.
Have noticed that when a modest AVI pixilated picture emerges. Which is better - MPEG1 or MPEG2?
Has anyone a good default?
Thanks in advance.

Just look at the specifications for standard video DVDs: Wikipedia. See below for the video formats (heading 4.2) you will find a table with appropriate settings. The data is then auto, depending on the duration of the film.

Firstly, many thanks for the link. This setting I've made. My profile is now setting the following: Vido MPEG2 standard, DVD-HQ.
The problem is that when I get a 100-minute video on a file size of around 5700 MB komme. Unfortunately this does not fit on one DVD. Why is this so? Are there acceptable alternatives?

In this case, the "DVD-HQ" with a high data rate for 100-minute video, on single-layer DVDs to be burned. Can you reduce the data rate, for example by using a less high quality setting as HQ?
For the subsequent adjustment (Um-/Neukomprimierung) existing MPEG2 files I am not the right person. Perhaps this answers yes or someone else?
Antwort von DWUA:
This little program "PD" is in the DVD "HQ" quality (mpeg2), only <60 min. This would mean you do a better job s.geeigneter a "two-parter." Otherwise you go fast the quality flutes. Then it just depends on what you claim to those bodies.

Is there an alternative free program in German Language?

Yes, I've tried this. This reduces the file size to be approximately half (100 min = 2700 MB). However, the picture quality is much worse.
I thought it would perhaps fine tuning to ensure the quality levels.
Antwort von Karersee:
Wenns except the specified levels of HQ, SP; .. Small Custom (Custom) there, so you'll need auskommrn.
What is clear is that the quality at low data rates suffer
Antwort von Gernotte:
First, many thanks!
But there are synonymous custom settings. Because I know but not enough. With SP, it is just ok. DSachte halt, which could be anything aufpimpen.
Antwort von B.DeKid:
Try it out a HQ DVD created using DVD Shrink then slightly to "shrink" if there is then synonymous Qual ity to obvious problems.
Say if you have 5.7 GB image onto the plate then did this to 4.7 GB to Shrinker.
