Hello, I have the following problem I have Pinnacle Studio 9 and one of MiniDV camcorder JVC GR-D23E type. Now I want to transfer my finished cut back on the video tape to watch it on the television to be able to. I click in the Pinnacle Studio to create on film and on tape. Then open the file next to the video screen, and open my file. But then this message appears: The DV deck could not be initialized. Please check that the cable is connected and the device is switched on.
The Firewire cable is properly connected and turned on the camcorder synonymous!? So, what am I doing wrong?

Is the camcorder in playback mode? If the DV camcorder at all in? On some camcorders, you have to start recording the manual control over the remote. The user may enter information. MFG Peter

your model has, unfortunately, only DV OUT, activation of the current model is not easy to see DV IN.DE
