| Problems with A / D Convert
Question of Benjamin:
Hello together!
Just digitize old VHS tapes. Use one for Sharp VL-Z300 and one amd64 3000 + with 1Gb Ram and Scenalyser.
But while dubbing, there are problems. The Picture in the cam monitor is always fluid, but in certain scenes is supplementing the recorded images (the sound) is without error.
Does anybody know if there s.Wandler in the Cam or Cam-Pc s.der transmission is?
've Already heard something about codec change, but do not know how I do.

Just wanted to ask again if anyone has a solution to the above problem?

Reply Markus:
Hello Benjamin,
ideal would be to change the data from the camcorder as a DV-AVI to take. In what format you save the recordings?
BTW: Does that happen with Win XP SP2?
Reply GhostDog:
Hello Mark
Memory than the movies I DV-AVI.
Yes hab, SP2 on it, but so far no problems with the capture of DV tape had. Have just one more thing can be overplayed and so far found no errors. But I am willing to throw down to SP2 when there is no other solution.
Hab in nem other contribution was not of uniform belt tension in the VCR, and thereby halting photos added ???????

Reply Peter S.:
It should generally older when playing tapes to rewind once all pre-and in order to tighten the tape. With analog tapes such as VHS can cause short-term signal interruptions. A television screen of your camcorder or are too lazy to show it. These interruptions can be transferred to the DV stream and causing host error. A possible remedy could create a Timebasecorrector that used in some analog camcorders and synonymous is available as a single device. MFG Peter
