| Problems with the time trace

Dear Film Friends,
I have a problem. I have bought me a Panasoniccam on miniDVD recording. Now I would like my full DVD on my calculator out, which works out pretty well synonymous. Now, I must rename it and convert to mpg. What synonymous still works out. Mach ie from films XXX.vob XXX.mpg
Now my Probelm, after everything I've done my time track is funny. It shows s.das of the film 4 Minten long even though it is one hour. The track time is running 4 minutes until normal and then they stand still but the film is running normally next. The problem is that I so the film can not be cut.
Unfortunately, I have nothing in the instruction manual and found on the Internet, I ask you for advice Please help me.
