Frage von manfz:Hi,
as a simple entry-level (Panasonic GS27 camcorder), is the question for me, as I s.Besten the filmed material to get my PC. The camcorder has both DV - as synonymous USB - Out. When Panasonic was obviously up to the DVD composite cable nix it. With a USB cable can I use the camcorder connected without problem, but helped me the quality is not so from the stool, much worse, however, is the transfer:
1. Start Movie Maker - Import movie
2. Camcorders infected, Play Mode, Play
3. Movie Maker "record"
4. Download as *. wmv - File
5. Import to Ulead Video Studio 9
My specific question is whether I am with a FireWire cable, my camcorder could better control than is currently using USB?
... any hints welcome ...

Yes, Firewire is due to the constant data stream for a more suitable and reliable transmission has established itself as a standard. USB2 has a higher rate, but is subject to large fluctuations.
There are a bunch of synonymous tips for beginners on the Slashcam-page (outside of the forum), since this question about 20x a week ... up and rising.
