Mac OS 10.4.11 Final Cut Pro 5.0 on Powerbook G4 15 "(1 GHZ)
I can after I've changed the calculator, my project does not open. ( "General Error 41")
Upgrade to 5.1.4 has been recommended, 5.1.4 is not found in the net.
Do you advice?
(I have never seen with XML files worked)

Was it never synonymous. 5.1.4 is an update to 5.1. You have but 5.0. Upgrades of 5.0 to 5.1, there is no more.
For your error: I understand only station! What have you done exactly?

I have on my Powerbook G4 in Final Cut Pro 5.0 a Project "Dance" and created it entirely on an external disk.
Then the calculator changed, my Final Cut Pro on the new Calculator (synonymous PB G4, 10.4.11) installed and try that on the external disk stored project to open.
The opening cut, it appears the message: general error (41).
Strangely, there is happening on other projects are not the problem. (those are the clips offline - is perhaps the error rsp. the solution?)
