| Question of law for use of Music
Question of O`Shannon: März 2008
I have recently downloaded some songs www.freeplaymusic.com. What should I consider when I use the songs in Projketen commercial use?
Reply Bernd E.:
... www.freeplaymusic.com...Was do I need to know if I have the songs in Projketen commercial use? Is there no information on the homepage of the provider? Actually there should be but everything can be found. In all likelihood, you will be for commercial use but must purchase a license.
Gruß Bernd E.
Reply O`Shannon:
My English is not the best before and I understand what's wrong here, I ask again.
Reply O`Shannon:
(...) (c) If you are using Freeplay Music for:
(...) (6) Direct-to-video, DVD, CD, CDR DVDR or other similar media, including replication, distribution, promotional, or sale;
(7) Books, Magazines, Games, Electronic and Toy Use;
(8) Non-Broadcast Multi Media Use (Live events, Power Point presentations, trade shows / conventions, etc.);
(9) Music on Hold;
(10) Internet Services - Site Use (to promote a business, product, service or club);
(11) Personal Website Use (Non-Commercial);
(12) Wireless Content: Ring Tones / blogs / shareware / freeware / Wireless gaming, etc;.
(13) Greeting Cards / Email Greeting Cards / Email Brochures;
(14) podcasting;
(15) Film Festivals / Competitions;
(16) Religious Use (most), or
(17) Non-Profit (most)
Then Freeplay Music requires a signed license agreement and a license fee payment s.described in the Freeplay Music Rate Card [link]. (...)
Say you should top the "Freeplay Music Rate Card" around;)
Reply O`Shannon:
Have I understood correctly, that the license only for a few years can buy?
If this were the case:
What brings you music for the image, weddings, advertising video?
