| Questions about the XL2

Hi,
I plan my big camera (price should be at max. 4,000 euros) to buy. For some time I play with the idea to purchase me a XL2 as synonymous on this lens has a switch. From some, I have heard that the color and the Lens to be poorly processed.
Moreover, the question arises whether it would not have a HDV cam like the XH A1 should be, unfortunately, has no lens shift, but probably makes great pictures.
Generally, I would like a few friends with some low budget movies and now I am on the lookout for a good camera.
Now many will write back that I should use the search ;-) Have I done everything already synonymous and have been reading a few days everything through some experiences would greatly help me anyway.

I have the XL2 since 2 years in use and often can be happy to summarize. without demanding to objectivity or completeness:
+ True 16:9
+ Pretty good objective
+ Easy to use
+ If sufficiently light, it makes a good dv-bild
+ Good audio recording via xlr 2 * (expandable)
+ More accessories available (objective, 35mm adapter, filters, ...)
+ Bnc via a live monitor connected
+ 2 custom presets buttons adjustable (knee, gamma, cine, etc.)
+ 2 integrated zoom lever
+ Rugged camera which already had some s.kann - please do not try
- Poor search - use monitor!
- (Me) too little weitwinkel
- Neither handle nor shoulder camcorder camcorder, between model
- Not particularly bright (1 / 3 ")
- Poorly balanced weight and a bit too top-heavy
- Objective (zoom, focus) has no stop ring, and will endlessly via power-operated. I find it much more practical, a stop ring to have
I forget something? determined;)
Conclusion: the price for a good camera, if you again in dv would like to invest. However, I would now but at the gy-dv 5100 draw. with good light (mann) and the relevant skills, we can model this with very good frames shoot. me, she never let down and has always made good their work. synonymous as they will keep backup until it falls apart times. ;)

stop ring is, if zb. s.objektiv zoom and the zoom s.ende no longer can continue to rotate. with the XL2, this is not so, and will rotate the electronical processing and not mechanically. This is somewhat synonymous zoom makers. also you can place the end of the zoom does not feel. I like the stop, because I so synonymous of photographic cameras have known her. but is probably not a very big point of criticism and somehow makes you drauf On;)

if you buy it new in any case. Recently, I had one in the best condition with head 80 hours for ¬ 3.8oo the offer. I am almost become weak;)

correct. but a really very good. synonymous because 24bit signal processing. s.weia ... same here I get cut off because of this statement. forgive me dear slashcamler;)

sorry, and you have a 1 / 2 "CCD imager, the same again XL2 outdated. very good image and good lowlight behave. oh ... who has just invented this hd;)
