| Quick Dubbing
Question of Happe:
Hello all together,
I hope you can help me? I'd like to dub DV video on the PC (now Fire Fire). Currently the only funtioniert in real time. So if I now have 5 hours synonymous film takes 5 hours to transfer. Is it possible to speed up the whole thing. Because the videos are digital, it should work, do not you?
If so how does it work? Is there some Programs, or even hardware?
Schonmal Thanks for the replies.
Greeting Happe
PS I'm using Premiere for dubbing.

(now Fire Fire)
So using "Firewire" is capturing only possible in real time. But how is that for "Fire Fire"? No clue ...;-)
Greetings, Jens
Ps: And I previously thought USB would be the measure of all things ..;-)
Reply Voltz:
On real-time scanning is no way. The tape must indeed always be moved mechanically. Other than such as DVD camcorders hard disks or the newer solutions (but then again who) other disadvantages.
Ansonstengibt are synonymous such a "quick scan" capabilities, which offer some of Programs. Pinnacle Studio has the S10 with the new version has abolished during Ulead VideoStudio it (even just as great unique! Has introduced).
At the point of such a function must surely be no doubt rightly so. You work through editing that is not with the actual material, but only with like images. Appeal before rendering so you have the tape again, so then the actual underlying source data can be read. I certainly think nothing of it.

Billy Boy .... maybe not for us.
USB is not a constant bus! He is meanwhile busy with himself and in doing so he loses frames.
To me is still no way to know play back via FireWire to the camera too. (Film) secure

Mistake or?
It even works if your camera "DV in" support (eg difference between Panasonic GS 140 and GS-150)

Hello,
Our Hannes said probably back with USB.
I have Canon MVX 45i (With WMM tested) and JVC MC 500 (supplied with its own program) known.
The MC 500 is not stupid, because then once you downloading the films (from the network) and ending Mpg drausmacht can watch s.der Camera, so a small laptop for traveling. One need only watch that has the correct name of the folder.
The whole is expected to continue in the immediate future, and other companies such as Sony (I only know of HC 90 + PC 1000 with USB Out) are destined to follow suit soon.
Since we're back to Firewire bye bye
LG January

The only thing with which one is on some cameras by the perfectly ordinary "Langames Forward" feature can save you time-lapse. Times just a 90 minutes, captured on Time Lapse LP twisted in a few minutes. The XM-1 no problem. :-)
