I know the mouse is now not necessarily the most important component in an average PC, but I still wanted to ask if anyone here one recommendation for a robust, accurate and wireless PC mouse has, since my old slowly give up the ghost. Vieln Thanks!

Have here a mouse out of the gamer segment, the MX 518 of Logitech. Can I just swear by it, especially because we now no longer Batteries must chip away and is never synonymous with empty Batteries here.
As a supplement, I have not synonymous, the Mouse Bungee. MX 518 has a very soft, flexible cable and the work order, in conjunction with the bungee is no different than with a wireless mouse.

Looking at the relevant pages you can only find reviews of "gaming" mice. So what else could I but be careful in my case? To what extent play the dpi resolution or standard-setting in the "operational matter?

All s.800 dpi should be sufficient in principle. 1600 is synonymous already more than enough.
Gaming mice usually have. a high sampling rate and are more accurate in terms of simple movements. Basically you can do no wrong with Logitech, Razor would be an alternative, but may be may be too small for larger hands.
UA important is the ergonomics of the mice, eventually one wants synonymous to work the whole day. There would, in principle, offering views to the Media Markt / Saturn Probefühlen to go to.

I've always had Logitech Cordless mice of the GL5600, but since I had of Siemens I find that I much more precise, particularly in PS can arbneiten Odera and of course is not always the battery is empty.
Logitech is the same only more expensive to find the multiples!
