S.PC Television without Television?

Frage von Danii:
August 2006

Hello.

I have a problem. I would gladly accept a shipment today. My VCR, this program does not. Now I wanted to take the show on your PC, but this I do not need a coaxial cable from the television. But he is in a closet and is preferable to too heavy. That is, I'm neither cable nor s.das ran s.den Scart connection.
I have a TV card for the PC and an antenna synonymous, but that I get no reception. Then I thought to myself that I just connect a coaxial cable because of the need (ie, one that is not connected with the television, but only with the antenna and the TV card). But the times of the antenna cables are too large.
Is there still a small coaxial cable (ie with) small plugs or take it there is another solution, the program on the PC?

Thank you very much,
Danii

Antwort von Markus:

Hello,

You have a VCR? - Prima, because there the antenna usually goes first. So Pull the VCR to the front, lengthen the antenna cable with a suitable coaxial cable, and concur with the extension s.The TV card of your PC.

But one question remains: Why do you think that your PC can receive that program? If the reception in principle possible in your area? Have you already done a channel search in the VCR?

Antwort von Danii:

Thank you for your reply.

My Television is able to "digital Programs received" too (something like ZDF Doku, Theaterkanal ...), so synonymous of Germany. The VCR can unfortunately not. Receives only the normal, like ARD, ZDF, etc. A channel scan I have done.

I hope that my PC is it. I try it a try with the antenna cable.

Thank you.
I rise again if it does not work. :)

Another idea: My television is live TV-out port as s.Scart AV signal. If that is so synonymous with your television, you could then connect the VCR and record the show via Scart.

Antwort von Danii:

The VCR is, I think s.Scartanschluss connected, but which has its own Programs. (I can then manually s.VCR record something and watch something else on the television) I do not know so well how to explain it now. I'll try this way:
Sat 1 is on my television at number 5 On the VCR, it is at number 7 (my VCR has thus "own" programs)

Synonymous, but I try that again.
(That was with the coaxial cable, but unfortunately the PC, the program has not received)

Once again, thank you.
I meld my (hopefully) with a positive message. :)

That would be too cumbersome and confusing. I have all the video devices with the same list of channels lined (or) on AV-link can be fed. ;-)

Is it clear what I mean with the recording via the AV input on the VCR, or are there any questions?

Antwort von Danii:

I've peeped again, the VCR is connected with the scart cable.

One question I have: Is that because synonymous with the digital programs?
Otherwise (I think) I understand that

Vielen lieben Dank.

Antwort von Danii:

I have a question again.
I could theoretically take up the television program on my digicam? Geht sowas with special cables??

Yes, if your television spending in the current program as AV signal s.der scart socket. Then there is no preference whether it is an analog or digital channels received.

Digicam is a generic term for cheap digital camcorder, and just such Snap. Since the latter are hardly in a position to take up an entire TV show, I assume you mean a digital camcorder.

That is, if your camcorder has an AV input, and means you can make a suitable connection cable (scart -> AV input camcorder). Alternatively, you could, of course, synonymous filming the television, but if you do something like that still today? ;-)

Antwort von Danii:

Thanks for the reply.

So, I meant a camcorder. So I've tried it synonymous. And it worked!

With the video device I did not get this done. But no preference.
Thanks again.

What could be the reason? - I would check the following:

1. Right channel s.VCR elected? (Target: AV1, AV2, AV3 ,...)
2. Scart connector of the VCR is not an input? (Where necessary, reposition to an input, if any, ext as the scart input for one. Tuner)
3. The scart cable is not fully loaded and only works in one direction?

Nice that the recording works with the camcorder! :-)

Hello.

I asked myself again and as I have understood that it would actually s.Scartkabel lie. It apparently really only go in one direction.

But I do not give up. : D I continue to try everything out until something works.

Thank you.

You can easily try this: Pull the cord of the devices s.and infer it the other way around again.
