| SIS Image Stabilization
Question of titanic: August 2006
Hi, I eigendlich iregendwelche loss of quality when I films with SIS? I mean on the monitor of the action to see that the Picture without SIS is much more colorful than with SIS. I would love more to film in 16:9 format, but my Panasonic NV GS 180 CAM does not support SIS in 16:9 How is filming her? With or without? Tripod excluded. Regards

One more reason to take the 280 ;-)
The SIS is an electronic image stabilization. These use a portion of the sampled pixels to compensate for the movements. Since PAL Resolutionaber has only about 400,000, should the balance of 400,000 in the 4-3 range for the stabilizer. The situation is different at 16:9 from, since even top and bottom part is cut off even then would probably not enough pixels for the stabilizer to be available to still have full Resolutionzu. Better models have therefore usually an optical image stabilization, which affects the Resolutionnicht. I would compare s.Television the material in any case, the integrated display is not suitable for quality ratings.
