Hello, I wanted my old DV tapes recorded now happy to take my HDV camera. Would that be recommended, and should I hire you with HDV vortakten?

1. Recommendation:
Let the existing MiniDV recordings in the archive and you buy new tapes for HDV.
2. Possibility:
If you like 1st not suitable, it would not be wrong, the first tapes with black picture in HDV to play, especially if you like in between coils, to provide you with the last recordings to be. This can lead to inclusion of gaps, which then in turn with problems in capturing the can.
Furthermore, the Vorcodieren useful if you downkonvertiert cut in DV (for example, because the existing Calculator for liquid work is too weak) and then a batch capture in HDV has to be performed.
You might want to have of course synonymous aware, that drop-outs with HDV operating principle is much more far-reaching implications and may avoid the risk of recording errors increases when MiniDV tapes always and repeatedly plays.
3. Option:
Think again about point 1 after. MiniDV tapes cost is not enough that the expense of dubbing (with all the possible difficulties) would be worthwhile. ;-)
