Source file is deleted -> by applying new time code
Frage von atomme: Oktober 2008
liebe leute
following: I had for my shortfilm the dv tapes recorded completely (about 13 GB) then I have in Final Cut Pro geschnitten. Unfortunately I have some (13GB) files deleted. and it can not restore (because of greater than 10 Gb). 've tried everything (Data RescueII) ... :-( maybe synonymous solution for anyone ne ...
so now the following: I also have the films re-restore. and re-link. the problem: the time code (from loading) is now another. Depending on when I REC button in Final Cut Pro for the press release.
does that mean now, I must be completely possible to restore the tapes? Then in Quicktime cumbersome frame for frame s.anfang delete, new store and then in Final Cut Pro, new link to see if the movie clip right now s.der body? ... good timing cut is yes we know, in the frame area and actually I had everything nicely done and would be reluctant to cut again touch.
everything as far as clear? thank you for your tips

I just do not sit in front of Final Cut Pro, but will 'take a trial run to help you:
The aim will be to all the missing files in the Capture Scratch and re-create the (now in the browser out red) clip to connect. How these files were called once, you will find with ctrl + click on the clip / Object Properties / Format.
First you will but the tapes in the same way, capturing, as you originally tatest. As yet a further link the project with the capture Scatch could stand in the way file names are different, because the media manager to file (and not according to time code) searches. After sometimes. necessary to rename the capture file (unnamed blablabla.mov) follows: File / Media connect again ... .
Alternatively you could try on Import / EDL ... to re-capture. Your project will then serve as a "log-list". To my knowledge, are only defined in the Project and use of your time code fields of the respective clips re-loaded.
Has already helped or do I have your problem is not yet understood?
Good luck wishes to you Christoph + + +
PS: with the new time code (when applying), I have not understood.

hey danke erstmal.
So the problem is that if I am now 4 DV tapes new recordings, just connect benennne and that this 60 min. mov long again with time code and starts 00.00.00 but s.einer imagine where in the previous one. mov version, perhaps even 3 was second. I did with the restore in Final Cut Pro is not as precisely made and easy (after the band started) someday to REC (in Final Cut Pro) is pressed. understands you? and it is then stop everything now postponed, unless I cut out after 60 minutes I mov again connected with the project have piecemeal of what this mov away to the point of zero, where once synonymous stop was 00:00:00. the (band) time code but was already gestückelt, with blue-between so I had to go but the entire tape completely restore ...
I prefer to try another recovery program ...

That would not preclude you. However, it is synonymous to batch capture a success, if you do not at first aware of the capture time code by pressing the tape test. (When you call the object properties of your clips, you can synonymous to the time code of the tape to see).
The Final Cut Pro gives you synonymous Manual (limited) information in the event that TC on the tape repeatedly.
