| Stark contrast differences after converting ... Help!
Question of Wallaby: Januar 2011
Hi everyone!
I have / had this problem (the Project is now complete, but to avoid it happening again, I ask before the next order flies in the house ;-))
So:
I had footage of a 5D, and frabkorrigiert cut in the Avid ... After the arithmetic version of the clip was ALWAYS contrast than my Composer window. And while extreme - so that the picture had been partially eaten, etc. The colors were partially synonymous in the bucket. So no preference with which codec or container in which it was deducted, no preference s.welchem monitor, with which player or s.welchem Calculator has been viewed - the picture was always too contrasty and too bright. I know who is not stupid with a clever preview monitor is working - but unfortunately did / I did not have any.
And I knew, of course, always like to know if you can customize the Composer window somehow? (Perhaps the questions are stupid, but with CC I've yet nüscht gemaxht so much) ... Our solution was then s.Ende: Correct Color, to make mixdown (because of the AMA clips) likely out, Reference, seeing, change color, make out Micdown expected, Reference, watch, satisfied - Next Picture ...
You can apply the chaos (s.Files, clips and nerves) so imagine ... I am eternally grateful for all tips that you have Sun
Greetings Kerstin
(Oh, MC 5, Windows 7)

Could it s.den mov files and Quicktime are? Try out the latest QT version, there were problems with color spaces / Gamma.

Hello!
Thanks in advance for the reply :-) Have synonymous Avis, Flash movies or mpegs made of it. Views synonymous with VLC or Windows MP ... It was always the same: - /
I have only found info on the Quicktime clips going dull - but for me it's been just the opposite! Idea?
Grüßle :-)

Sounds very much after that, it's a color space problem and you display in the window 16-235, but then plays out ... 0-255
Had something like that ever with Premiere, but I had the finger s.Avid long gone, sorry.
