Switching PC -> MAC (because FinalCut). Which system?

I own at the moment your E6400 Core2Duo PC and can be quite good HDV videos cut. (Premiere Pro2) But since I have long been superior to the bin, give me a MAC zuzulegen and the new Final Cut synonymous very interesting to me, I want to tell me something.
What would I MAC (both stationary as synonymous notebook) at least equivalent with an Apple cut them.
Should not cost you much more unequal.

With an iMac 20 "or 24" for the stationary solution, with a MacBook for the portable, each with 2GB RAM upgrade, you are in any case better supplied than before.
If you're professional, would be a MacPro configuration required, very roughly estimated from dual-use (open top). A small decision support: FinalCut realtime functions are in the MacPro and MacBookPro variant better used of course, a question of speed and comfort. And of course, if you have a preview monitor in the 1920 resolution (23 ") necessarily want to have.
Stable throughout the system. XH A1 as a new owner (which I think thou hast synonymous), I can on my iMac 20 "version does not complain. For me, the money must not go outside.

The new HD box Aja seems exactly right as to be, if the performance of the Imac and Macbook's not sufficient.

Now - as I said, I've always played with the idea to me to buy a MAC. Only because of Final Cut I would not do naturally.
Motion and I have clearly komportabler (synonymous if not as extensive) as aftermarket Effetcs think - especially with text effects.

macbook, I would not recommend if mobilrecher, then necessarily the macbook pro (17-inch screen, at least 2 GB of RAM) - but it cost a lot .... Otherwise, if you seriously want to work, I would at all events to the mac-pro rates, only because of the extensibility.
