For some time I burn DVD `s as a test for Picture, Sound and format. In the latter, there are a few problems. Films that have been recorded and edited in 16:9 to be played back of my television as 4:3. The format of my television screen is set to AUTO. Should therefore recognize the format. But he does not. If I then toggle to 16:9, is located in the upper film (black bar, what's it called?), A thin white line. The boundaries between the viewable TV picture and the bars are not synonymous kanz clear. Can that be in the editing program may change in some way? I Magix video deLuxe 06.07 Pros. On the computer it will play correctly.
Ciao

The correct 16:9 aspect ratio on a 4:3-view television is ussynonymous for the DVD player. Look at times when the setup menu, set the format for the connected television is.

The next is not unusual: many camcorders produce previously mentioned (and sometimes synonymous s. below the edge a bright line. Normally, these disturbances disappeared in nichtsichtbaren Overscanbereich are still in playback of 16:9 recordings s.4 :3-Television these bands suddenly visible.
You can use them with the trim function of the video editing program, just wegcroppen. But do not zoom in the picture again on the Ursprungsmaß, but let s just have the black / s line /. That does not fall on next.

In the video editing program, the white stripe is not visible. In addition to cutting the film in a 16:9 screen is rendered, so the black bars disappear altogether. I once set 16:9 in the DVD player -> no difference.
Thanks for your help, hoping for more opinions, experiences, ...

That is not unusual. In the preview, the picture is so synonymous deinterlact / scaled and while the bright bands can be eliminated entirely.

Then switch on the control monitor times underscan or close a 4:3-Television (with switching to 16:9). Otherwise, simply croppers flat top and bottom 2 rows away.

What format does my television, on which the problem occurs with the display of stretched 4:3?
Antwort von Camy:
The Television has 4:3. When changing the Television of 16:9 in 4:3 -> white stripes, not just limiting the black bars (like the mean, then?)
Conversion in the DVD player -> no difference
... to bring it again to the point.

Many experts call the black bars pompous "black bars". ;-)
That the first and last image line may be not OK, you need not trouble you next. This is so with most camcorders. Cropper (prune, but not scale!), The picture just to those lines, then everything is okay.
