Not quite understand where is your problem ... because the first is always covered with the 2nd. Once you can run faster which will still auto frames omitted. Except you, the "frames per second exalt.
The entire work for any CuT program in the same way and manner. simply increase speed and also happy that you have a Time Lapse: D

In Premiere, you can go the FrameBlending synonymous synonymous nice tune time "curve fine".
This does not require umbedingt FC or AE
AE is synonymous something good and FC is just the king of video editing.

Maybe my answer is completely off the mark but "Conform" in Cinema Tools (with Final Cut Pro is here) does just that, it makes the video run faster without losing a single picture or change it. It is only changes the fps info in the QuickTime file.
