| Time will Council (2)
Question of StahlChristian:
Search in perspective, a video camera in order to professionally promote my music projects. Had my concern in the article "Time will Council introduced and received many helpful contributions.
At that time I have favored the Canon XH A1 (wait & buy at some point used).
Recently I read that now make very good videos synonymous SLR cameras. 've Watched videos of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II & I'm very confused: the view from the better (contrast / sharpness) than the videos of the A1.
What format are these videos really. I succumb to an illusion, or is there really a leap forward happened?
VG, Christian Stahl

It is an illusion.
What you see are the details of Alias | Wavefront Mayaing arise. This is synonymous the reason why the pictures look like super sharp - they are in principle "sharp". The effect can be synonymous with Nachschärfungsfiltern achieve in the post.
The exact technical background you can no doubt explain WoWu (or use the forum search relating to "binning").

I've now read almost at your Fred Title: If time is Wheel. That's what happens when one deals intensively with one thing: you read this, what you want to read ;-) synonymous if the forum does not fit to do so.

Well, to the point. I see myself running around so synonymous for a new camera, but that is probably in the near future yet. The GH2 I would have liked, but has an image analysis revealed that the AVCHD codec used is horrible artifacts in high motion objects, also missing a 10-bit storage and 50p. Will take a bit longer.

It is therefore still the good old saying "never trust a bike"
Ääääh
Never trust a hype, so isses correctly.
That leaves the difference in contrast - the A1 seems to "overblow" tend ...

So isses. Only those who still does not have a camcorder that can seriously think about various DSLRs or BridgeCam with their circumstances of interest. The progress, even against older camcorders (with the exception of time playing around DOF) are not worth mentioning. A truly new class would be 422 10-bit, single-image compression with 100 mbs data rate and 50p. Among them we need not think more. H.264 is beyond the pale as the recording format. In None, it offers better quality than the old mpeg2 with 35 mbs, except for a lower data rate.
