| Timestamp in m2t?
Question of taeuber:
Hi Folks,
I signed up just to get rid of a question I answered with the help of the Internet was not himself.
Once I get one-PD1 JVC had risen, I want to process the data produced in my Linux boxes. As a recording format, only P25, that is 720x576 anamorphic 16:9 at 25 frames per second progressive in question. (For exceptions, once synonymous P50.) This format is an MPEG2, which can be transferred via firewire transport stream using the Calculator.
For Linux there are only MPEG2TS from libiec61883 package to transfer.
Now I wonder reconnect with my minimal knowledge of programming and expand the program to something. For example, at a scene detection.
Here's my real 1st Question:
Is / Will be somewhere in that transport stream recording date and time of the encoding?
Thank you and many greetings Lars

I can tell you this is not exactly synonymous - but there are of JVC even a supplied tool, with which at least works on Windows Automatic scene separation of individual m2t files. Would not that be a suitable alternative?

Hello Wolfgang,
Unfortunately, I do not want and can work under Windows. Unfortunately, the tools provided work not synonymous with wine.
But maybe you can even write to me, whether to display when using this software, the recording date and time.
So far, I'm used for DV, the file names that consist of computerized files from the recording date. I would like to synonymous for the MPEG data.
Regards Lars

This shows that tool is not synonymous with, as far as I have it in my head.
Peter has developed an HDV meeting times in the video data monitor, which could tend to go in your direction. But, unfortunately, synonymous Runs only under windows and xp, but still views the link there:
