Hello, in AVID I use often Trimmfenser with numerous trim functions. A special feature is the "roll": Here is the clip from its center moved in and out - the length of the clip remains the same.
Does this feature not in Premiere? The average window, I can probably only be moved in or out ... Or do I make a mistake, and the structure makes premiere by another workflow in AVID as the roll of a clip otherwise possible?
For advice on, I am very grateful!

In Premiere Pro, there is the Rolling Edit tool [s], with which you have the intersection of two on the same track overlapping clips freely between the beginning of the right side and the end of the clip is left out and her roll it. The program will monitor you both clips s.der current position of the tool is displayed.
But I think that you are not this kind of role played by my, but this: the field of Clip In - to out-point clip in the Source Monitor can use the mouse pointer (it must be positioned so that it forms a small fist), free the clip out and pushed her to be. The length of the selected area remains the same, but changes its position in the clip. Again you are in two windows of In - and Out-Point visually displayed. The same course synonymous in the program monitor, for me it makes little sense, unless you are looking for an explicit range that you only want to render out or so ...

God, you want me but do not REALLY say that you are the difference between Adobe Premiere Pro (Premiere Elements incl) and After Effects do not know?! So Avid confused but even YOU can not be!
Or. that you in your writing of your own title, the string "After Effects" is not of the forum title string "PREMIERE Pro" to distinguish the interview?!
If they do, is synonymous to me now a light on why you were not even on the rolls Fäustchen to your clip in Premiere Pro section are come. You're blind stock!
I speak here against a wall, or what?
