Soooo is immense light output again not synonymous. The 85Watt lamp is approximately 200 "real" watts. Still can be very good to work with. They are soft boxes for soft illumination (especially people), thus not intended to focus. I use the example in a scene on a dining table or the like. The color temperature of either you take control with various bulbs or conventional films.
And no if you're on battery power from you should look around for LEDs.
