| U-matic BVU-800P Time Code

The BVU-800P has hints 2 RCA connections for the time code TC in 1x and 1x TC out ... my question now is what kind of signal comes out or is there out there? A video signal? Or Digital? Since I am on the device, unfortunately, no instructions, I now have hope that I can help someone here.

Neither, but as you've already identified itself, here it is possible to add external time code, for example, of an external time code generator.

Ahhhsoooo hmm ... and the output? Only through the grind, the synonymous and the TC signal from the tape to the outside? Can man really the PC as TC generator abuse? And if so, how?

Öhm? So the 800-U-Matic Series was between 1982 and 1989 produced. Ists rather long ago that I am such a machine was under the fingers. If I remember correctly, for example, it is time for a so-called code-linked cutting important, the Rek. the TC of the player to be able to feed.

So ... the TC board is inside ... under the control panel there are 2 blanks, s.einer (SY-37) is the control panel is connected, and the other has the name SY-36.

A pity, I had to "TC-28" hoped. But, as I said, whether the MAZ now a TC-board generator or not, the main thing is that it works is still correct.

Yes as I said, if I am up to the ceiling then do me a grin TC board ... with 2 switches on it. And Yes it still works wonderfully.

Meinste the board is wrong because? The board is called TC 20 and sits in the pit of the synonymous with TC is described.

Nene, which is already fit. TC-20-Board should be actually a TC reader and his board that would be synonymous s.der right place there. I can just at the moment there before my mind's eye no switches to accommodate. However, any switches or potentiometers on the internal boards, you should always leave.

Joa, nuja the 2 switches are for Int and Ext TC etc.
