Just Video Studio 11 Plus on my Vista Calculator installed to my old S-VHS-C tapes to the PC to play and to aufzuhübschen. It went from a friend with VideoStudio8 perfect. (which unfortunately can not just Vista)
Problem: When connecting the recorder (via composite to USB cable) Vista notes that although a new (unknown) device was found but no drivers. All attempts (WEB, Install CD) failed, hence knows the studio my video camera (a Panasonic NV-S88E). The search for a driver at the Panasonic website is also vain.
Who can help me there?

For analog camcorders, there are no drivers, because the analog signal output only and can therefore no digital interface exists, over a driver could be addressed.
With exactly what hardware will be the AV signal from the camcorder to the calculator are transferred? What is it for a "composite to USB cable? A cable alone can not signal digitizer. There must be more dranhängen, such as a box with Picture-/Toneingängen.

The cable (see attached picture) I have said of miners who, together with its Video Studio 8 movies copied on XP without drivers, or other activities.

Handy Cap, so synonymous is the original SW. Is the HW important? I think that the transfers "only" signals. In the original kit, this cable, and a handicap SW version 3.0 here. As already said, the thing ran synonymous with Ulead Video Studio 8 without problems. In my naivety, I expected that in the same VISTA HW with the current SW also "Run "....

It is not the video for which you are looking for a suitable driver must, but this "cable", which is probably more than one cable, namely a small grabber. Only with a matching software will you be able to transfer dei.

After Vista drivers look (The manufacturer of the converter - is really not just a cable - this makes it synonymous differences in quality, for which a converter is used) and if none exist - weep! Or switch back to XP;)
