| What calculator?
Question by Rene K: März 2007
I have a new computer. the market is easy to become confused.
which computing power and memory should be because, for reasonable editing his.
I would like to get S.3 GH processor. the dual core, although usually less, but the performance so twice. The question is, if a dualcor processor, then what? amd or intel D, or duo, or VIIV? and then the clock.
can anyone give a hint?

As you so clearly demand:
Always an Intel x386 with 16 MHz.
Answer by Rene K:
thank you powermac. but I think for my application is nix.
this processor is enough? has someone experience?
AMD Athlon64 X2 Dual Core 4600 + (2.4 GHz) Socket 939

DV editing with magix and premiere, fast rendering.
did before, 2GB RAM dazuzupacken
Answer by AndyZZ:
Na for DV editing, but he has said.
However, it is of course a difference whether you cut DV or HDV want. Whether you are with, or After Effects Magix rumplagen want. And whether any special effects with 3D and 4D programs want to make. Or possibly the frames with extensive imaging programs' feintunen "wants. Perhaps another keying ....
So Rene, a little more about your ambitions and Powermac synonymous writes again in small letters.
Answer by Rene K:
ok.
So: with postprocessing effects, keying, yes. HDV is not at first. But since I do not know whether I am in the near future once such material can be played, should I consider. but I think that extends above processor probably not.

can anyone give a hint?
How much can cost's? For at home? (ie, with nothing special ... Videobearbeitungsgedoens Search 'Avid editing room', but HausHofWiesenHeimPC?)
Basically, I do not believe, but is probably so .... at the moment is the price of Intel Core2Duo / Leistungsverhaeltnis for home the best.
If it's' budget 'must do's of the E4300,' s.idealsten 'reflects the E6600 .. higher processor clock decreases in price / Leistungsverhaeltnis (as usual) very quickly.
ps: According to different applications (usPremiere Pro encoding time) Sortable charts of the latest processors: http://hardware.thgweb.de/charts/prozessoren.html?modelx=33&model1=432&model2=694&chart=185
6600er Core2Duo and Athlon64x2 6000 are 5 seconds in favor of the Athlon apart ... the 6600er kost 300 euro, the Athlon 450th.
Answer by Rene K:
das ist ja mal ein cooles tool. Thank you

No cause. I am more than computer video man:)
After the tool can Premiero Pro 2.0 way synonymous with nem Athlon64 2800 use ... it takes only halt 3-4-5 times as long as with his system faster.
For home use most entscheided So how much patience you have, whether a calculator "insufficient" (or hold dear the better half with her "I have NOTHING to attract and throws you back thousands of your computer out of sch ...";) or not. In the professional field (because I'm more synonymous than video programming man man) may be a minute difference between the cheapest and most expensive processor even a few Euros more expensive than the processor .. there are so price / performance decisions synonymous something else .. therefore, the inquisitive questions here about what you mean actually want to do.
Well, that is synonymous only to the processor .. graphics card is interesting .. 1 Monitor, 2, 4 ...

And ... If the better half has nothing to attract and man just a little longer to wait to render ... I would have given NEN proposal ... :-)

Answer by Rene K:
what do you think of an Intel Pentium D 925 I 2x 3.0 GH. I think is quite favorable and to have fulfilled its purpose?
Answer by PowerMac:
No more old Pentium. A Core Duo is easily twice as fast.
Answer by Daigoro:

Not quite. So, at least not at a comparable price / performance level. The small Core2Duo is approximately 1 / 3 speed and 1 / 3 more expensive than the Pentium D. Oh and of course "Future-proof" because Vista already a core and a graphics card need to make this modest Bedienoberflaeche represent and then you do not have Wordpad open. (<- Joke ...'s both really need at least 2 cores and SLI graphics cards: P).
But supposedly less power and much cooler (better to over clock?).

Unfortunately I have not as the plan.
all newer core duo are at the same price, less slow-bsp 2x1, 8 GH. for me as a layman, I would then 2x3, 0 GH prefer. synonymous if he was "slightly" older. I was wrong, or you can newer processors with 2x 1.8 or 2x2, 4 GH work faster than with 3.0 GH (pentium D)

Even Intel is years after penetrating Protzerei GHz transferred to their new models only with "art name" for sale, because currently at least 6-8 "cores" auf'm market, look no more pork, which processor is really how quickly (before yet because of the application to application varies).
So, as already written up: Core 2 Duo E6600.
Edit: Because of the E6600 is faster than any older Intel Processor auf'm market (not necessarily twice as fast, but noticeably faster - and synonymous in the top 10 overall fastest home computer processors allows) and is still 'affordable'. 270-280 Euros are not grad a bargain, but in the overall system one way or another to the 1000 Euros will come (2Gig Ram, 2 hard disk, DVD reader and writer, etc.), make the difference to 100-150 Euros next cheap P4/D-irgendwas not so noticeable. If it's not enough money at the moment, still and wait 1-3 months and then hit save.
Answer by Rene K:
So I see it. spoiled for choice. I've since earlier times synonymous nor durchgeblickt. now long gone. Thank you.
Answer by Rene K:
someone knows a good internet provider, where I was cheap and reliable to order a new pc / can put together.
the load is no longer to get xp

A Core Duo 2 of 2007 with 2 GHz is far faster than any old Pentium 3 GHz of 2004! GHz are given in terms of performance about as meaningful as the tail size in terms of qualities in bed ... This should slowly but even the last Hurz understand ...

And how!
Answer by Rene K:
in the point agrees with me both.
Answer by Rene K:
so, have now ordered from Dell. to provide great service, good prices and was much better, despite the vista on the internet offer, by telephone request all systems synonymous with xp prof. available, but special internet rates.
das find ich echt mal super service. praise s.dell.
