I want to emulate an old silent movie and looking for the typical text panels from those shooting (with black frame, on which the lines of dialogue are written) and matching, typical music. Does anyone know an address where you can download such media?

Text panels kannste with each character or image-editing program to make (Photoshop). With frame and all the bells and tuned ....
Music is more difficult ... time is almost everything has been accompanied with piano. These things were in the cinemas and the pianist accompanied the silent film live. Maybe this will help in Google.

In silent films, the music matched exactly to the picture. That would mean for you actually make films, and then set to music. If you use these Royalty Free Music often sounds cheap, but probably will not go differently.
