Now my own version:
You take the white sheet (s.sich is not good, better to use a standard gray card dealers from the photo) and hold it in front of the lens. Then {omm You ran so far that the white (or gray) is formatfüllend. Then you hit the switch s.Deiner camera, probably the "White" or "AWB" or similar means. Then something in you like viewfinders briefly displayed and an "OK". Done.
You must of course make sure you accurately measure the light situation, synonymous in the dominant motive is. So it's no use if you have a window film and a white inside with artificial light and then make out with films.

Matthias, you're doing me wrong. But with controversy, I can live. I'm always the case. The White Balance is not trivial. No reason to bite. But how to carry out White Balance, which reads just get even.
A great tip: "White Balance" on Google a phrase. For example, hit number 1, which Wikipedia explains this better than Matthias.

Each motif in the third Picture may distort the comparison, especially when it comes to colored objects. This is synonymous, but a bit of range of the camcorder from. Hab times even seen a TV team when the cameraman said, get what white to match the Assi and bends down and lifts a white paper with shoe prints on it and asks: Fits? Cameraman drauf: Jo, Jo. Save time and money to everybody but not so! Then has prefer a handkerchief (best with the Yellow remains drauf ...)

There is quite a fine gray PortaBrace of ... and no, not even sooo expensive ;)... $ 4.50 ... with a rubber cord for hanging on it or annexes s.Taschenn and Co. .. None should be missing equipment bag! Is something more, with an underclass of plastic ...

I got my camera straight out of the window and addressed through the curtains of my WB made. The half was in the picture area (ie green bushes ...). The Weißangleich was perfect. Everything was fresh in color. Do I ne Camera with supernatural abilities?

Do I ne Camera with supernatural abilities? No, in many cases determines the camera so a true result, synonymous if the measurement is not optimal. You can even on a white cloud, a white ship, or a gray sidewalk correct white balance that is only just always a matter of luck. So prefer a reliable anmessen area.

In daylight, all weissabgleich good. The problems usually occur only in artificial light on. Have a look at energy saving light bulbs or neon ...

Mixing light is synonymous always very popular. There is even one with a perfect gray crazy, because depending on which angle the card is held, it appears through the lighting is always different. * grrr *
