Hi,
I would like to establish a wide-angle ancillary Canon WD-H43 for my Canon HF 10E. Problem: The attachment has a 43mm thread, the camera a 39mm thread. By an adapter ring - there is - would increase the distance of intent to the camera lens a few mm. Does it work? Leads to uncertainty?

An adapter ring should not cause problems, but if you buy the converter anyway yet, begs the question, why not just take one with 37mm thread? The detour would be fit without an adapter on your camera.
