| XM2 buy new - nor is it worth?

Hello!
Hab diligently searched but found no answer, so ask the question quite cheeky and hope to receive expert assistance:
I shoot films with children (am a primary school teacher), which is actually very fun to play. Possessions for a cheap camera that I am not concerned with children in the hand may press. I pondered over a longer period, a better camera to buy - recently, it has an opportunity where I could use better quality, and have therefore today a new XM2 bought, because I so much money for no risk wanted. Meanwhile, I read in the forum but that she might have been overtaken. I voted for ¬ 2000 bought an old wheelbarrow? Had I prefer another new camera to buy? I'm quite confused - I could still return it!
About answers I would be very happy!

Those with a favorable Henkelmann examined and satisfied with PAL 576i, it is certainly a good camera.

The cheapest I found the XM2 to 1900 ¬ on the Internet, but as I stress my future if something goes wrong and I at Saturn lived around the corner from me was this is the difference worth 100 ¬. And I wanted to take the precaution of buying a pristine camera.

The camera is absolutely fine, I use it occasionally for private recordings (at Aunt Anna's birthday with a shoulder camcorder aufzuschlagen is my not so ...).
The differences in image quality between XM2 and VX2100 are more in the measurement area or are a matter of taste.
The award makes a difference in the Picture in any event not noticeable.

I think the XM2 in a point überhohlt. You can not real 16:9. At the present time this is in my opinion makes no sense mer after a 4:3 Camera to buy. This is a clear reason to buy the NVGS 500, because the 16:9 can.

Remember, the synonymous and the lack of 16:9 is no reason Vx 2100 or the XM 2 not to buy if one wants to stay in DV. I film in 4:3 with the VX 2100, the rest I do with Edius, which means I need to change in 16:9. Large differences in quality I see on my tube TV is not good.

Well, the VX 2100 is for me ne entire track better, ok there are advantages synonymous with the DM XM 2, like the separate manual sound audio control of the two channels or the scan function is the VX 2100 has. Also, a 20x optical zoom can be used in certain situations which bring (VX 12x).
Not only the sharpness and! Zoom forward, but the automatic and Lowlightleistung, the much better AF and the accurate exposure with less dropouts to make the VX Top Camera in the class.
I think a lot of who takes the outside, it can safely be synonymous to go Canon, but Lowlightfilmer - once the money is - very quickly to change VX 2100.
Well, I was dissatisfied with the DM 2 is not XM, its strength is rather good and normal light. The remote tape errors, I had fortunately never.

So I would not XM2 cart as described - is simply a very good device. The alternative, however, is that I do not necessarily 2000 euros for an SD device would have spent - but rather to the current date on an HDV device would be gone.

With "old barrow" I said not that the XM2 is bad, but that they might soon - and quickly - of newer models might be outdated. After a long think about (and painful, yes it is a great camera: - /) I have 2 XM and returned it to the GS 500 fetched - I am just on the safe side, I still get a wide-angle lens and this may ¬ 1000 price difference for a HDV lay in the piggy bank. Of course the Henkelmann professional feel for the Kids First off, after all, at least the pictures look great. Perhaps yes someday a successor model of the XM 2 - or is the XH A1 as such to be understood?

And the basic picture of a GS 500 is synonymous already at a very high level consumer DV. I always felt it to a level similar to XM DM 2, although the Canon of house significantly higher or not. They are synonymous but many manual functions - not always the manual setting of any filmmaker.
I think with the GS 500 is synonymous runs good, its Autofocus can I believe in less trouble than the XM 2 - especially in weak light.
