Frage von Bocki:Hello
I have a few movies on the computer that are in avi and mpeg formats, which I would like to watch on my dvd player. They are between 500 and 800 mb in size. some DivX is in the bottom corner.
I have ZERO idea how I do.
unfortunately I have no dvd burner.
Would I be pleased with a little help!
Thanks and MfG
Antwort von Stefan:
The Umcodiererei I had just enough ;-)
I had bought to play DivX videos recently of a cheap DVD player, on which stood on it "can not play DivX synonymous.
DivX movies on data CD-fry and into the player, Looking and that works fine. It may even be more DivX movies on a DVD disc sizzle (if you have a DVD Burner).
Good luck

I have ZERO idea how I do. If the proposed solution of Stefan from this point is not true? It's just all a matter of the question and that was open on all sides. ;-)
Antwort von rulli:
So the movie files you can easily with a burning program (Nero. ...) burn on the disc as far as I know. So a normal data CD
Antwort von angelico:
I open nero and burn it as data cd, my dvd player does not.
Then I tried to burn svcd to eien did not work but because it is too big ...
= (
Antwort von Stefan:
That is the crux.
With a standard DVD player and the restriction to CD-R you can only create SVCDs and VCDs.
For SVCD and VCD with approximately 35-70 minutes max. 74 Min Square ....

And the conversion into one of two formats takes time, the right tools and nerves .... since we have wrestled with for years.

Nowadays, in times of cheap DivX-enabled player (see above), or cheaper DVD Burners make fewer and fewer people VCDs or SVCDs. Huhu, there are Who, I hear someone haaallllloooo?
The DivX movies not worth the effort because "better" it is as VCD, SVCD or DVD eh not.
Good luck
