The standard had been established: DVD-R/RW!
Just thought Philips and Ricoh, they urgently need a second variant invent (DVD R / RW) to the license fees are not paid to the consortium to must, therefore, there are now 2 versions, of which the pro version NOT the official of the DVD consortium.
Basically, this is absolutely no preference because both varieties in the DVD-recorded Condition as a standard DVD purchased behave. The difference exists only in the write strategy. What comes out the back is always a DVD that plays everywhere (at least the R-variants, in RW looks bleak off).
A similar theater, there were already in the DVD-Audio. SONY has once again cook his own soup and SACD invent. Unfortunately, these Systems are not compatible, leading to None buy the stuff.

How do you know? Incidentally cost-Cons unlock code for the new BenQ drives grad times 50 cents (VAT) and I can not really synonymous recognize that the now numerous available / burners have become much more expensive than einformatigen their predecessors.

Welcome to reality! It's not a question of industrial customer satisfaction and clear Conditions to create it's only about profit maximization. That is why many prefer to cook their own soup. Why did you well then in that, of all technically Videoaufzeichnunggssystemen zweitschlechteste and the superior Betamax or more less to die? For the customer that was not a good solution for The industry is already the VHS machines are much more "simple crocheted" and above all the license fees were lower than in Betamax. Wait a little, it is already waiting for the other format Silver in the starting blocks. Soon there and then - still synonymous each as double-sided, blue-ray and god knows what else. Gruß Lutz

R is a technical progress synonymous gegenueber-R. It allows the Burner after a break exactly at the center continue was stopped at the. When-R is the only loss with something like CD-R. Basically a long-R should be dead, because technically obsolete and not cheaper, but market power still keeps it alive. Both formats are used in the next 5-10 years anyway extinct because DVD R s with higher capacity (blue ray, etc.) they will displace.

Exactly. Much worse is that some DVD-R PlayerR and although you can read, but problems with the recorded format. Either they give the interlaced video DVDs is not correct, or they remain shall depend on where 2 MPEG files to a VOB has been processed are neighbors, etc.

What do you mean with loss? For CD-Rs are the LÃ ¼ cken so small daÃx a player who dara ¼ ber stumbles, as defective characteristics.
ÃSbrigens DVD-RW has been in a defect management ¤ eligible functional state, whereas, according to Philips C'T 10/04 the development of DVD MRW (which defect management with should include) has put on hold ...

The DVD standard. DVD RW has the greatest chance to be a standard for DVD recording enforce. The fact that companies like Dell, HP, Memorex, Mitsubishi, Philips, Yamaha Sonyund on the format DVD RW / R set suggests that the acquisition of a the burner is no misjudgment.
With Microsoft, the DVD-RW Alliance company above another Giants brought into the boat. The software manufacturer announced that this standard will be supported.
However, the struggle to raise standards in the second round, because at the moment, two new formats developed in parallel: The DVD successor "Advanced Optical Disc" and its rival "Blu-ray."

Quad eros demonstrandum (or something similar)
Kennwood DVF-3530
DVD-R - Nothing DVD-R - Nothing DVD-RW - Nothing DVD RW - he plays
So practice test ever spoke against it, which is the R-variants as a DVD can play anywhere.
There remains the theory. The others clearly speaks of Reflection behavior, it is based on a pressed DVD catastrophically low-light laser diode of an R-variant when Emfänger to. But hardly any of the current half Players from the text is, if the customer otherwise elsewhere purchase would come to reflect Sonyund Co.
