I have about 25 old vhs-c cassettes, which I have not yet digitized. because they are similar I would now like to synonymous Digitizer in 15 years still in good quality to have.
I have a normal one per pinnacle system, the vhs-c (ie the small vhs Video camcorder for old) actually a different framerate than 25fps with DV material? I must take any preferences when hinüberspielen for optimal bildquälität out? So I would now simply in the form of cassette dv avi format with 25fps. I get better quality if I use the cartridges with a different codec such as HDV material safe?
what settings you used? ask for your tips, thanks for your help mfg alex

Hi Alex,
DV - Standard is ideal for backing up video recordings of analog VHS-C. HDV, you do not, because not even the VHS Resolutionvon DV can really exploit. The frame rate is in PAL (B / G)-recordings are always the same: 25 fps, interlaced, no preference whether it is analog or digital video recordings act.
What from your question, however, not clear is the tool with which you have the proper analog-digital conversion vornimmst. Besides the use of a cheap recorder Geizzeit the most quality through the use of an inappropriate converter go flutes. ;-)
the transformer is, in my opinion, yes in the one pinnacle rtdv average per card with an integrated front turn blackbox, where I with s video hineingehe .... the vhs-c cassettes I use through a vhs adapters in a s-vhs player with 6 heads of sharp video.
is the pinnacle per systemservice no one A / D converter, which must be yes, otherwise I would have been on the front blackbox no s video and RCA inputs, right?
being ever grateful for your help, because you learn more about this .. you're really a bereichrung for Slashcam forum, Thank you

On what medium do you want to do because they secure? Should it even described DVDs, so forget the solution rather equal times, because many fewer than the remaining term of your tapes. Then even prefer a new or used VHS recorder buy, even if it comes.
Antwort von Markus:
I would DV tape to secure. That is cheap, stable and bearing the pictures you can later easily be synonymous editing.
If the backup in the form of a DVD video is done, you should at least a good MPEG2 encoder and first-class brand blanks together with a related compatible burners to use. With the appropriate storage of DVDs, they are synonymous for several years and can hold up to that any time quickly and easily umkopieren.

It would certainly be a better solution, but it pays my opinion, synonymous only if private recordings is to be saved. Everything on TV was in the course of the year anyway X-times repeated.
