Hello @ ll I want to upgrade to Final Cut Pro on mac, yesterday I was in the media market and because I have an iMac 20-inch monitor found mt, 2x2GHZ, 512 working memory and 250GB festplatte.wurde it rich with Final Cut Pro to work, or what it recommends me? Maybe I'd better buy power mac? am very grateful for any response.

The external disk is not bad, but not a must. I would do at first-two 250 GB partitions, eg 70 GB for the OSX hard drive with programs and Fisselskram, then the remaining 180 for the capture and render files. For projects in SD and average project size is the performance of this computer anyway with comfortable reserves.
