Hello, The Manufacturers use different polymers for their tapes. This is sometimes tolerated each other and form a non-abrasive paste. And again, some of the camcorder is not tolerated. Therefore, many swear by it, remain at a belt places.
The "problem" is often synonymous in the backing. There are different degrees of smoothness, and chemical compositions, the synonymous for the capstan and rubber rollers of some devices are not optimal.

Spam, I think that there is no 'cleaned threads, dealing with an issue .. like the FAQ. Of course there are some topics on any subject, but which are often 15 pages long and will be discussed between 7 pages about the abnormality of a contribution, and if you're lucky, the topic of the thread is taken up again.

Thanks for the scientific answer Dino;) I just now joined the crowd and bought the Sony premium. Availability is the only reason. Almost every shop has the order and I do not have extra on the Internet which, when strikes me that I have no more. That with the cleaning cartridge is a good tip.
