DVL-Digest 1135 - Postings: Index Shooting Flat Panel Displays Using camera settings Shooting Flat Panel Displays - "Don Mitchell" I was just shooting a 15" LCD Sony M51 with a PD150 on a tripod. Easy -- nice. Focus was crisp, no artifacts of any kind. Even off-axis it was pretty good. Don Using camera settings - "Crittenden, Jan" From: Evelyn Hochelt [mailto:ubiquitos@operamail.com] Sent: Tuesday, April 30, 2002 3:52 PM To: DV-L Subject: [dv-l] Using camera settings I'm looking for a source that can tell me when to use the various settings on my (JVC DV300) camcorder. This would be items such as Master Black (the DV300 has 9 level settings), Vertical and Horizontal sharpness controls, Color Matrix, shutter speeds, gain up/down etc. I'd also like to learn some of the creative white balance things folks are doing to get nice warm images. I've been using a plain white card but the auto camera settings consistently present a warmer (and more pleasant) image. I hate being beat by the auto settings! Thanks for the tips.
