Valerie Bought a used Sony monitor was I ripped off? - "Perry Mitchell" From: Rich Rosen Just bought a used Sony monitor 14m2u-- color (for instance on a persons face) will only vary a shade of green when swinging the phase from side to side and also adjusting chroma, bright, and contrast. I don't have the manual and I'm new to monitors, but I can't get any video or bars to look anything like they should. There is also a purple cast (when feeding pure red to the monitor) on the right side and upper left. Could I be doing something wrong or is this a lemon and I now have a fight on my hands? Thanks. Pinnacle Studio 7 - "Don Mitchell" From: bounce-dv-l-5963@dvcentral.org [mailto:bounce-dv-l-5963@dvcentral.org]On Behalf Of Paul Michel Sent: Thursday, August 22, 2002 1:30 PM To: DV-L Subject: [dv-l] Pinnacle Studio 7 Greetings everyone... Anyone using this Pinnacle product on a PC platform? I just installed it yesterday. Started getting page fault errors at capture and during editing, resulting in the application crashing. The manual says to manually re-map the video memory to another location. I'd like to get a 2nd opinion before I start to mess with the settings on perfectly functioning system. Thanks, Paul PS - I did disable the Write-Behind caching, changed the display to 16 bit and took the system clock off the toolbar, all per instructions from the manual.... --- You are currently subscribed to dv-l as: runtime@wzrd.com To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% -- (cut off when replying)----------------- This list is made possible by Lifetime DV-L Benefactors such as http://promax.com, http://videoguys.com, http://panasonic.com/broadcast and the contributions of its members.
