I would expect that Canopus is correct in their assumption that their cards can gain from certain types of YUV processing. At least it doesn't seem farfetched. Will it be enough to just replace the existing CD-R drive by the A04? Or the drives for MACs are different in some way? I hope somebody out there could answer my question... Sony DSR-11 any problems? - "Perry Mitchell" From: Bill Finch I recently read a post from someone on the Guild of Television Cameramen (in the UK) newsgroup suggesting that the Sony DSR-11 was not reliable. I have a DSR-11 with 3200 hours on the clock and no problems so far? What is your experience? I use the DSR-11 only for seamless transfer to and from the NLE, so far only with Sony DVCAM tapes.
