It's possible that the DSR-20 is looking for the flag with it's warning lamp. 2)HAD CCD chips - this is a type of construction (Hole Accumulated Diode) that Sony has used for many years for professional cameras. I would be surprised if it wasn't also now used on better consumer cameras. HyperHAD refers to a technique of also adding micro-lenses above each pixel, to improve smear and sensitivity.
