Frage von martinB.:Hello!
I had until recently Sonyvx2100 and would now like in the HD region. I have saved 3000 ¬, which I now for a Camera (without) on the head wants to beat.
I need the camera for concerts and sporting events.
I have around me and my FX1000 Sony Or of the AG-HMC151e of Panasonic envisaged.
Has anyone any other camera in the head, the "useful" would be. Or. I would be for pro and contras of both cameras extremely grateful!
Oh and a new unit it should be, because I had used with the Vergagenheit not so good experiences.

For the HMC, see the corresponding thread in the Panasonic forum of me, there are a few subjective impressions of me.
I would definitely take the HMC. Always and always. Progressive CCD, progressive recording, 720p/50, XLR connections and many manual settings to make the camera a good choice.

How it works in Final Cut Pro with the Panasonic?
Workflow?
I stand just before same decision.
Is the Canon XH-A1 still a good choice?

@ Pailer: Have I already read everything.
I work with Premiere CS4 and would also buy an upgrade kit for the AVCHD files to edit, which I do not really deter ansich. There is a Panasonic AVCHD 4 free, but it is still a time to convert the files.
Another shortcoming in the AVCHD files is that I often pictures of me to cut s.andere points must pass. Since AVCHD is relatively new it can hold (yet) any editing.

I am currently transcoding everything with Quicktime ProRes codec. It is time consuming, but I accept this shortcoming however, because the benefits outweigh the other. AVC is nunmal against the better MPEG2 codec, and also I would like first and foremost a progressive record. Synonymous, I'm convinced that with time, better solutions will be available and I did not before me soon a different / better camera to purchase (my SD-synonymous, I have used for several years and after and after the workflow with SD material always smooth).
