Actually pretty easy. Vob dati are basically mpeg2 files with a different ending, and with the addition of bup and ifo files, so the DVD player can read the DVD.
You need to simply follow these steps:
1. On the hard drive copy
2. In the Control Panel go
3. Click Folder Options, then select View
4. The option: extensions for known file types
Remove the hook Hide
5. Back to the vob files. You have now behind the
their names nor the ending. vob added
6. Right mouse button, rename the extension. Vob and delete
instead. mpg to write.
Done!
Now with the MT on the right-click File => rename

You've certainly several Vob files, right? On the DVD, the film breaks down into several parts. The rest is safely on the other vob mpg or distributed.
You can edit these files with any program in theory, I think even with Movie Maker of Windows.

What happens when you put that file in Media Player just ansiehst, or in the editing program. Is it then?

So if it only comes part of a vob herauszuschneiden, I can recommend Chopper XP (freeware). This can be easily cut individual files, parts cut out ect.

Very good surface, foolproof handling and everything works fine, without having studied it.
The entire program comes in a fully functional version without restrictions for 30 days, highly recommended for beginners!
