Hello, I had some hard problems and were given me some Quicktime movies destroyed.
It is the message: ... can not be opened, because the Quicktime format can not be processed.
The file still has the original file size. If not, unfortunately, synonymous with the VLC player, or convert anschaun.
So is there a possibility that erroneous files to repair.
Antwort von B.DeKid:
Gude you can about the newly available files do not tip, but perhaps a hint s.Dich time and others for the future.
Important files in *. rar files store ..... not only save of Rar can pack .... Rar Recovery 10 Preferences .... From the Rar file now via QuickPar recovery files can be created on 10-15%.
QuickPar can be found at http://www.quickpar.org.uk/index.htm
It really is worth it and only one has actually never problems with slightly different files (eg, checksum error, missing parts of split files, etc.)
Whether CD / DVD / DAT / HHD / MO ..... at all backup media with the addition Par files secure files, and you should be armed before chen "sometimes serious" situations.
The resulting par files and the resulting "more" memory surface / maximum size you should be willing to invest, it's worth.

Ps You could directly synonymous of "normal" files to create par files, but I personally prefer Rar as storage containers.

Even if the actual data have been destroyed, the files can still with its correct size. This information is in fact s.separater location (in the so-called file allocation table).
First try the corrupted file times on another drive to copy it. With a little luck does das Is a part of the data with on-board resources are no longer readable, called for a HDD recovery tool. Possible Programs Usin you find this thread:
have just the photos and MOV clips of copies of my digital camera and had to realize that a lot of JPGs and MOVs are broken. How could I have at least the MOV files to repair?
What I've tried:
- Again with data from Ontrack Easyrecovery fetch stick - MOVs new encode with mencoder (under http://www.tutorials.de/forum/videotechnik-video-hardware-codecs/200870-mov-datei-reparieren.html)
Both useless.
@ B. DeKid: The QuickPar strange with me, sounds good!
